Gill Wattam
Gender: Female
Gill started her nursing career in 1986 and took some time out to raise her family. She returned to practice at Gloucester Road Medical Centre in 2013, successfully completing her Return to Practice Course at the end of 2015, and now has a Diploma in Minor Illness and Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification.
At the end of 2022, Gill transitioned from one of our Lead Nurses into the role of Clinical Development Manager. Her role includes the design of local clinical system improvements, implementation of new clinical services or service changes, clinical lead for vaccination campaigns and cross practice quality projects and development.
Gill continues to complete a small amount of clinical work, specialising in dementia, contraception/sexual health and urgent care.
Outside of work, Gill is kept busy with her two children and three energetic dogs.
